After moving into my new house in October, i ordered new bedroom furniture from Hovells online. Since October i have had a catalogue of issues with them and would strongly suggest any readers DO NOT use them:

1.10 weeks for my furniture to finally get delivered after stating all was in stock on their website

2.Awful customer service when i was trying to figure out what was delaying the delivery resulting in me complaining and this is still ongoing since October 2011. Staff are really rude and unhelpful

3.Delivery not arriving on dates arranged after taking days off work with no apology or still no explanation

4.Wrong items being delivered

5.No instruction Manuel with self assembly furniture item

6.Failure to respond to my complaints, resulting in escalating to the ombudsman

7. My contact details continually be used in relation to other Hovell customers orders.

8. refused to provide me their complaints procedure, they said they don't have one as "complaints are few and far between"

This company are unorganised lack professionalism and have caused sincere distress and inconvenience for the full 10 weeks. Money was taken from my account for the goods immediately but everything since then has not been at all efficient or satisfactory.
